Try putting a leech on it. my friend’s uncle had a black eye the day befor prom and he put a leech on it and when they took the leech off it was gone!:)

FYI: Leeches won’t do you any good three months later – they only suck flowing blood. Once your blood has dried (e.g. congealed, coagulated, etc.) they are no longer interested.

I just found your site and was looking at all your post so I’m not sure how old this post is. But I had a black eye just like yours, blood filled eye and fracture, when I was about 8 or 9. I’m now 19 and I’m sad to say I still suffer from BES. The blood and bruise is gone but I still have a knot-like thing and it is still very sensitive and can re-blacken from the slightest bump. Hopefully you’ve recovered by now!

I Googled "Black-Eye Syndrome"; this blog entry was the second site returned, and the top one said:

You need some Arnica gel. You can get it at any health food or herb mart type store. It’s miracle stuff. I keep a tube of it with me at all times for my goose egg prone 7 year old. They also make tablets that you put under your tongue and they dissolve. I can’t attest to the power of thet ablets, but the gel works wonders.
