Time-lapse cleaning binge…

We’ve got about 30 people coming over for Thanksgiving and you know what that means…it’s time to clean. I decided to challenge myself to see how much I could get done in one hour while Allison was at work. Come on you married guys…we’ve got to try to out-serve our wives. Have fun peeps.

1 Hour Clean Spree from Ryan Detzel on Vimeo.

The song is called “Clean up” and it’s from Ralph’s World.

Could you some how get my husband to do that…really just once a month. Without asking? I’d cry. For reals.

I think the most impressive thing is the whole zone cleaning - I clean all over the house at one time, but you managed to stay in one general area for quite a while! Excellent.

Wouldn’t it be cool if we could move that fast when we wanted to? How much would you pay to have super speed for one hour a day?

This really shows that you can get more done with even a little bit of time than you think.
Seriously though, who sings that song? I tried finding it through Google with no success!

Way to go! You have inspired me to get up and clean - or “clean up - clean up my mess!”

BTW, I can hear my oldest son humming this tune while I type! Very catchy!

I’m impressed you actually moved things to sweep and mop! My hubby goes around things if he ever does those things… drives me loony.

Okay, I am being transparent here, I know-but this is just too good not to share. In our house, we call this, ahwm-foreplay :).
After 17 years of bliss-filled marriage, the best advice my hubby gives on keeping the home fires burning is to “Grab a broom, man!” LOL. You are an awesome husband and daddy, Ryan-way to serve :). Loved the thankful blog, BTW.

I hate you in a very loving way. I can’t believe you cleaned up like that. Can I send my other half to live with you for like … a week? Just show him the basics - you know, like where the dish washer is. How to hold a broom.
