We’ve got about 30 people coming over for Thanksgiving and you know what that means…it’s time to clean. I decided to challenge myself to see how much I could get done in one hour while Allison was at work. Come on you married guys…we’ve got to try to out-serve our wives. Have fun peeps.

The song is called “Clean up” and it’s from Ralph’s World.

Could you some how get my husband to do that…really just once a month. Without asking? I’d cry. For reals.

I think the most impressive thing is the whole zone cleaning - I clean all over the house at one time, but you managed to stay in one general area for quite a while! Excellent.

That is Olympic style cleaning. Fo sure!
Happy Thanksgiving!

awesome job, the one thing that was missing was the reaction of your wife!!!!!

Wouldn’t it be cool if we could move that fast when we wanted to? How much would you pay to have super speed for one hour a day?

You’re a good man Ryan Detzel.

I’m quite impressed! Like Heidi who mentioned you staying in one place for a while. That was an awesome time lapse video too.

Great job Ryan! What did Allison think? And where was Ava Beans?

All that in an hour? DANG. I would’ve got the car clean in that time, but that’s it. I’m very impressed!

You should teach husband classes. power cleaning 101.

How far do you have to drive for recycles?

This really shows that you can get more done with even a little bit of time than you think.
Seriously though, who sings that song? I tried finding it through Google with no success!

Way to go! You have inspired me to get up and clean - or “clean up - clean up my mess!”
BTW, I can hear my oldest son humming this tune while I type! Very catchy!

So you don’t have a Swiffer?

I’m impressed you actually moved things to sweep and mop! My hubby goes around things if he ever does those things… drives me loony.

You know… maybe I should do a movie like this for my hubby, to show him “what I do all day”

Excellent! Inspires me to clean up my mess today.
I love Ralph’s World!

Just curious, what software are you using to edit your videos?

Okay, I am being transparent here, I know-but this is just too good not to share. In our house, we call this, ahwm-foreplay :).
After 17 years of bliss-filled marriage, the best advice my hubby gives on keeping the home fires burning is to “Grab a broom, man!” LOL. You are an awesome husband and daddy, Ryan-way to serve :). Loved the thankful blog, BTW.

I hate you in a very loving way. I can’t believe you cleaned up like that. Can I send my other half to live with you for like … a week? Just show him the basics - you know, like where the dish washer is. How to hold a broom.
