Love Wins Visual Lyrics…

The Robbie Seay Band created a song to capture the idea that LOVE WINS. My friend Jon and I really enjoyed the lyrics of this song and we decided to try to create some sort of visual lyric movie to go along with the song as it was played live at church this past weekend.

Below is the video I created to go with the song. This was the first time I’ve tried something like this and I think with some more time and practice it could be uber sweet. The lyrics on this one don’t show up until about 20 seconds in…check it out and let me know what you think. I’d love to make more of these and have them available for download.

I thought it was really good — and so did my two-year-old daughter, sitting on my lap, “singing along”…

I think my favorite part was on “look above”, and then “love wins” came down from above. Very cool.

By the way, would you pray for my family? Nothing tragic, but definitely stressful. I posted about it today at http://www.birdsintheattic.blogspot.com.

My boys came running in when the music started. They are tough critics. They like it. So did I. the video is great. Very inspirational. Thanks for sharing.

Also thanks for the wine tips at PW today. The first time I ever got actual “useable” wine help from anyone. Love the frozen grape one. Awesome.

Blessings to you and your this Thanksgiving.

    1.Great job!

    2. Is there a specific Bell sermon or something that the Love Wins slogan comes from? My husband and I were just asking each other this week!

3.Have you viewed this on the big screen yet? (This is kind of a loaded question, but I am a tekkie at heart and had to ask.)

    4. What software did you use to create this…because I am a tekkie at heart, and had to ask!

    Thanks!

Ryan, I stumbled upon your site via the Pioneer Woman. Loved the article about wine. But really, we are big fans of the Robbie Seay Band and I thought your video was pretty darn good. I work with youth ministries at my church and I help with running the slides for our music. I’m wondering if you can share with me what software you used. I am going to assume iMovie. Can you please let me know. I’d like to do (attempt) something like this for our kids ministry. Thanks for sharing.

Very uplifting - the song and the visual effects with the lyrics!

I also liked the wine post on PW - going to use your frozen grapes idea!

    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Good work. Those lyrics are fantastic - that album has been on regular repeat for me lately.

This summer I helped run the E-Free youth conference (challengeconference.com) and Starfield did this with one of their songs - moved an amazing amount of lyrics through, at a frenetic pace. They played with a click track in their ears to make sure they were where they were supposed to be. Cool stuff.

Really great, loved it. It was EXACTLY what I needed to hear this morning. Uplifting, inspirational, and I really needed that today. Thankyou Ryan.

Have a great thanks giving, we don’t have this in Australia, so I don’t really know what it’s all about but I hope you have a good time.

I really like that! I also found you through Ree’s site (and have to absolutely praise God for your Pasta Carbonara recipe, oh merciful heavens……)

I would also like to know what software you use. My church’s music minister is currently looking into ways to spice up the ministry, additionally, my daughter has become very interested in Graphic Design. I’m visualizing doing something similar with her artwork underscoring the lyrcis for a big visual effect…….
