I’m going back.
About a year ago I agreed to take part in starting a hobby store with some friends. I planned to help them get it off the ground and then step away when things were running well. Things took off quickly and after about six or seven months of helping out a few hours a week I decided it was safe to transition my way out. It was totally smooth. Things at the hobby store have stirred up more and more over the last few months and my friends have decided to open a second location during the Christmas season. They need some help. I got a call.
It’s not going to be difficult…just a few hours a week. Some people are already telling me that I’m insane to add another thing to my busy plate. It’s hard to explain, but sometimes you have to add different things to your plate so that you don’t get tired of what you’re eating.
There’s always been a soft spot in my heart for nitro-powered toys. I am a boy.
It’s going to be interesting stepping foot in this new location though. I have to admit that I thought my days of working at the local mall were over. Can’t wait to see what kind of adventures it brings…gluing quarters to the floor as I watch unsuspecting mallrats struggle for them never gets old. Teehee.

Thank you Ryan, We love you!! The pics look awesome. See you soon

I always wondered what kind of person glues those quarters to the floor! It does provide entertainment though!

Thanks for this: “sometimes you have to add different things to your plate so that you don’t get tired of what you’re eating.”
Have fun with the holiday shoppers and the opportunity to just be a boy.
