I’m taking the day off today. Ava and I are spending it together and we’re getting ready to head out on a date. I’m not sure what we’ll end up doing just yet, but it’s going to be fun!
This is what our morning looked like so far. Poached eggs with toast and skillet potatoes followed by a game of Candyland. The stinking little kid beat me fair and square.

I can’t stand that show, actually. I get so annoyed by “I’M A MAP!” but my baby cousin loves it. And I give in to her too easily. So I know Dora by heart.

I clicked over here a bit back from one of the cooking segments over at Pioneer Woman. I really try to avoid her cooking page because some of her recipes from last year are still hanging around my hind end. She’s mean that way.
