This is how we roll…

Once again, our men’s group assembled on Monday night for a time food, fun, and overall tom-foolery. As we had done last year around the same time, we made a huge batch of cinnamon rolls to give away to people who might need them. Now, no one really “needs” a cinnamon roll – but you know what I mean.

If there’s a good way to show some people that you were thinking of them during the Christmas season, it’s butter, sugar, cinnamon, and some more butter. Nothing says you’re special quite like the famous Pioneer Woman Cinnamon Rolls.

It was fun to make them and I think we’ll keep on churning out batches to hand off to unsuspecting people until the new year. Having a dozen guys take part in a baking project is hilarious enough in itself, but the love people feel from being given a gift when they don’t expect it is worth far more.

We even made up our own special cards to give away with them to write notes in:

Are those PW’s cinnamon rolls? I made a batch of hers last week and after I devoured about 3 pans I threw my bathroom scale out the window. They are the best ever!

Dan looked as if he was not participated. He’s more of an observer of life isn’t he?
