Friends, family, and everything in between:
We rocked out free dinner (Skyline 3 ways) for more than 250 people on Saturday night. Easter Sunday, our volunteers served up a free breakfast of Bacon, Eggs, Pancakes, HashBrowns, Sausage, etc… to another 250.
The church services themselves were rather crazy in a great way. We saw more than 850 people come through our doors this weekend! It’s exciting to see numbers like that because we truly feel like we are making an impact on the spiritual growth of people right now. If 5,000 people showed up next week, and we had no spiritual food for them…no challenge…no call…no God…then what’s the point?
The more people we see come to Vineyard Westside…the more chances of a true relationship forming between the Creator and His Creation. Pretty schweet really.
After church it was off to see the family and a bunny cake:
Ava has twin cousins…Lillian and Sophia:
Time for an Easter Egg Hunt:
And then there were tree swings:
And then I forgot my camera at home and I didn’t get photos of the rest of of the day, but you can imagine…the fun went on and on. Often times, we over-complicate things. God wants us to love Him and love others…it just doesn’t have to be that hard.

I let me just say I enjoyed all of the food and I look stellar in my leather jacket. Oh, and those eggs are not very well hidden. They are just sitting there in the grass. I could totally find them all.

LOL @ Dan, yes, you did look stellar in your leather jacket.
Ryan, I lived vicariously through your post today. We didn’t do anything that looked or resembled what you did for Easter. We did attend our church’s service. However, everyone went their own way. It just seemed like just another day around here. I was a little sad about it.
However, on Saturday night I did partake in a virtual passover dinner in SecondLife. You may have seen my link post on FB to the slide-show of pix I made. It wasn’t much. Just my contribution.
Thanks for your openness to share God with us here.

You guys really had those stoves going good. Great pics as always. They always inspire. The Ava shots of her hunting eggs were beautiful. Glad you had a blessed Easter.

I wish I had taken Pictures yesterday. I am so under the weather. I did make it to church, which was a really wonderful service. I finished dinner and then let everyone eat and clean up while I crashed out.

I love simplicity. I agree… it’s not complicated. God. Loves. Us. Praise. HIM. Love this post.
