Blue and white are the two colors that, together, make me the most happy. We’ve done many a rooms in those colors.
I’m guessing that was you on Saturday?

Very nice color combo and if that is you (so that’s why you said a haircut is needing some control?) you look mahlvelous! Good job on the paint and texture – DH liked the fact that you have a very good power tool there – Porter Cable palm sander – woo hoo!

Also, FYI, your Twitter link is busted. You’re missing the “L” on pretzel.

The blue is nice. What are the other colors in the house? I’m always stuck on painting my walls red. But that’s a nice shade of blue. Very calming. And you clean up pretty well!

The hall looks great! I admire people that can pick colors! I’ve been trying to decide on paint colors forever and of all the blue paint colors at the store I always seem to pick one that turns out gross looking on the wall.

  33. Now that is some serious DIY stuff! My sister had to sand her entire bedroom in the house they bought a few yeara ago due to a mysterious textured treatment on the walls. (it had sand in it) It took her forever and it was REALLY messy.

Your project turned out awesome. Love that blue! And look at you all spiffied up there.

Nothing like a little creative project to get you some happy.

    Have a abundantly spectacular day!

  42. Jamie says:

I love the colors of the new wall, but I must admit that textuered walls drive me batty, maybe it’s because I live in a very old house and when going to paint, the texture was put on over some old wall paper so it comes off? what a dusty mess!
