So. Darn. Cute. She has great hair, I would have given my left arm for hair like that when I was a teenager.

so jealous of her hair! my hair is straight as a pin, and my husband’s barely has any wave! if we have kids, i highly doubt any of them will have such glorious hair!

So precious! It’s cool how little things like cute, curly, blonde hair make you melt :)
By the way, we have that same exact slide thingy for our 2 year old. I know because I just hosed it off the other day and got rid of all the spiders… fun stuff. Anyways, he loves sliding down it into his plastic swimming pool.

If this were a blog about my hair it would start the same and end with that hair that annoys your family.

beauty, she is! my friend had 4 girls, and to keep food from drooping in their food, they wore bandanas to keep the hair out of their meals.

good thing you’ve preserved those locks for posterity. some day she might want to cut them off. it’s just hair–it’ll grow back.

    she’s an adorable rapunzel.

I know exactly what you mean. My favorite thing in the world to touch is Landon’s hair. It makes my heart hurt. I cried like a baby when he cut it himself…It’s amazing the little things that stand out to you as a parent. I am in love with his little teeth too… I know, I’m a weirdo…

Such beautiful pictures… helps that you have such a beautiful subject :o) Love the 4th picture!!

My youngest has crazy curly hair (her older sisters have stick-straight hair!)… when the wind blows she grabs her hair/head to keep it on! She thinks her hair will blow away! LOL

No hints on keeping kids from getting food in their hair… my oldest is 10 and she STILL gets food in her hair (even if its pulled back… she’s tricky that way!)

Love looking at Ava’s pictures..since we haven’t had a girl in my family in 43 years until a couple of weeks ago it’s a pure joy to see Ava and her shenanigans…Our new little one is my first Great-great niece and her name is Isabella Brooke…but Bella’s going to have real dark hair instead of blonde. But I got my blonde, blue eyed, chin dimpled boy almost 30 years ago, so I don’t complain!!!
Have a great day and thanks for sharing!

Oh, my youngest had long, curly hair when she was little. I could tell it was growing in different so we took lots of pictures. Sure enough when we cut her hair it was straight. It still waves a little when it’s humid, but nothing like all those long curls when she was 2.

I love reading your Ava posts and seeing photos of her, mostly because they remind me of my daughter who also has tons of blonde hair and will be 3 on 9/3. I think Kaitlyn and Ava would get along quite well - they could yell at the wind together. :-)

My sweet little baby doll is aspiring to have hair like that. She’s 15 months old, and has a head full of beautiful brunette curls…it’s kinda crazy at this point. In the mornings she looks remarkably like Lyle Lovette. It’s a little creepy. But I’m sure once the hair gets a little longer it will not be quite so tall in the mornings! :-D
