…and she snapped these beautiful, natural-light shots.
So, I’ve been thinking. When we’ve got the incredible gift of being able to create babies as cute as these, don’t we owe it to the universe to make as many of them as we possibly can?
The picture titled “eye” is so cute… beautiful curly blond hair too. You two are blessed with two beautiful babies. They grow so fast, treasure these moments.
She should steal your camera more often, especially if she is going to get shots as wonderful as these! And yes I agree! God has given you two beautiful children as a gift and I am sure he wants you to have more:)
Wow, such great photography! Haha, better watch out, we might request that Allison take over your photo portion of the blog… And as for having more of these adorable faces…I say yes!! (But I think you have to check with your wife on that one…)
Truthfully – we are told in scripture children are a blessing from God and somehow in the modern world that concept has changed. With such smart and beautiful children – you are blessing us too!
They really are gorgeous. After our second was born (and was a colicky nightmare), we decided that 2 was enough. My childhood best friend told me we had to have more because ours were so cute! But, we did quit at two and they are a blessing!
Oh, my…at 45, though technically possible, I’d have to say NO. I’m already going to be facing menopause as my girls enter puberty. Retirement and college…oh, gracious…but if I were younger…:)
I agree with Liz. There are too many children in the world that have already been created. Too many that are not spoiled. Too many that are not cared for. Too many who do not know love. I have a bio-child and have raised step children as well. I love my adult son. And I am very happy to call him my son. But overwhelmingly, the MOST important thing I have EVER done for the universe, or for God, in my life was to adopt my daughter.
WHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Oh good Lord, really? THAT’S what you think when you look at your cuuuuute babies? Ok, kudos to you and to Allison if she’s up for it… really, I mean that!
(Cuz I would be flat-out terrified if my husband started plotting future offspring a few weeks after I’d given birth… )
yes, you owe it to the universe! We only had two children, and it is one of my biggest regrets. I didn’t trust God. I let fear of a unhealthy baby keep me from having more children. Large families are so great!
are you freakin’ serious?! just because they’re cute you think the universe wants you to have more? how about when they grow up and they steal your credit card to buy useless crap in order to sell to the pawn shop for cash to support a nasty meth habit? cute then? yeah, have more of them.
Comment #36… I don’t even know what to say to you… Ryan have as many of those beautiful babies as you and Allison want.
1 child or 5 children, any kid could make mistakes. But having a present Mother and Father like you two makes it a lot less likely that they will steal your Credit Card and become meth heads. I can’t get over #36 it’s cracking me up.
Wow, some of these comments have made a turn for the bitter. Some of them seem strangely defensive but I’m not sure why. I just kind of expected people to say things like nice pictures not your kids will be smoke meth or their are already too many kids. Huh.
You didn’t create them. You did have a role in their creation, though. It took the two of you and God. You and Allison were “sub-Creators” (in the Tolkien sense), tools in the Master’s hand. He invented the process; you just got to enjoy it.

They ARE precious!

I want more. So cute – congrats Daddy – they are beautiful.
{reply}
I love the polka dot/stripes combo – not sure if that was intentional, but it’s darn cute. Love the photos!
{reply}
Children are a blessing…I’d have as many blessings as I could get…if I were you two!
{reply}
haha, thinking about another baby ALREADY?! though i must admit they ARE beautiful, even though ava seems to have a mischeivous streak in her
{reply}
I’m agreeing with all those above … how does Allison feel about pushing out all those babies
{reply}
Dangerous question to ask
But these shots make me want more too!
{reply}
I LOVE that conversion you used for 6,7, and 8. It’s perfect with Ava’s polka dot dress!!
Gosh they are a team of cuteness!!
{reply}
Better make sure she’s on board for that big craft project;) You do make beautiful babies…no doubt about it!
{reply}
Go forth and propagate. Oops, I mean procreate!
{reply}
You are such a funny guy and yes, as long as Allison is okay with it. I wouldn’t mind baby sitting but you have to move to Texas.
{reply}
You might not want to approach Allison about this idea so soon after childbirth. I’d wait a while. But you two do make some beautiful babies…
{reply}
No, you owe it to the universe to take care of all the beautiful ones that have already been created that need to be loved, photographed, and spoiled.

the pictures are beautiful. your logic is ugly.
{reply}
Seems like a perfectly logical conclusion to me! Kim
{reply}
Then you would be like the Duggars! They are pretty darn cute though!
{reply}
{reply}
oh good lord, yes! they are practically perfect in every way.
{reply}
Yes, they are lovely little beings! Finley is making me want a new little one so bad.

Yes!!!!

Yes but please make sure allison agrees with you.
{reply}
Yes! We ended up with 8. No regrets, tho not easy. There is no better investment. No better gift for your kids than sibs. Not for the faint of heart!
{reply}
Congratulations, you have beautiful children!

Your kids are beautiful, I’d agree. Sweet little things.
My nieces and nephews have started giving me little ‘greats’. What a joy!!!!
