We have arrived at our vacation destination and I must say…the view is a good one. The house we are in is great and it’s shaping up to be a nice week away with the family.

My strange, yet beautiful offspring. They did unbelievably well in the car on the way here. I’m pretty sure they’re glad to be out of it though.

We have made it past our first leg of the trip to Surfside South Carolina. We decided it was insane to try to make a 12-hour car trip all in one burst with two little kids. And so, we are now sitting in a hotel in Hendersonville North Carolina. It looks like we’ve got about 5 1/2 hours ahead of us in the morning.
