A vital app…

I have an iPhone. Rather than brag about this, I have to admit that I shy away from admitting it to people…especially if I know that THEY have an iPhone. It’s just not good. Inevitably they ask, “Hey…what kind of apps do you have??”

I hate this question.

I’m not sure why…I just don’t like it. I don’t want to share what applications I’ve downloaded onto my mobile device. I just don’t want to. It’s not THAT important to me. Too many people ask. It’s frustrating.

But now??

Now I’ve got an answer to what they’re looking for. You see, everything has changed now that I’ve found THE PERFECT APP. I have found the holy grail of apps. This app is worth sharing. It’s worth talking about and it’s worth promoting.

It’s…

SmackTalk.

Literally, I spent 45 minutes with my little girl playing with this goofy thing this morning. It’s incredible.

SmackTalk

If you have an iPhone…you need to buy this app. It’s $0.99. It’s worth it.

Basically, you have an application that allows you to let a little hamster, a puppy, a kitten, or a chihuahua repeat the things you say in a different pitch. It’s surprising how hilarious this can be…especially if you have kids. Ava sat there and laughed at this forever this morning.

Por ejemplo? See below - (also…this is NOT my kid)

What has this taught me? That maybe, just maybe…I need to be totally okay with the “What apps do you have” question. After all, it turned me on to this masterful creation. Got any to share?

I don’t have an iPhone but my boyfriend does. “What apps to you have…” is a very common question. Then, they sit around like geeks and compare apps. *sigh*

you don’t like apps?? why not? I have like 8 pages of them on my iphone. I have two whole pages dedicated just to camera apps.

but honestly, I download way more apps than I use regularly. I listen to my ipod or podcasts while I check out Klick (flickr) most of the time.

Oh my! My 3 littlest kids and I just spent 4 minutes laughing at that hilarious little guy.

I am the same way about my iphone, I never talk about it and actually, I have very few apps on it. Mostly because I get tired of fighting my kids and hubby for my phone!
I may have to get this one though, I could occupy kids in a waiting room for hours….

I’ll download this when I get back to my own computer..my friends kids will love it.
with a little girl you need to know where the nearest and best washrooms are.. SitorSquat is a good one.

Shazam … when you hear a tune you like just hold up your phone to the source with Shazam on and it will tell you what song it is, artist etc etc and link to iTunes to download.

Locly … whats around whereever you are (might not work at Ree’s…apparently not much around there LOL)

Snap Tell … same as Shazam idea..take a picture of a book cover, video case etc and it will show you info on the book and link to buying it on Amazon or online etc. Reviews etc of each book too.

    BucksMe … where is starbucks

Fuzzle is my goto game when waiting etc.

Thats a few I like…I need to clen up my apps…LOL

My husband works for verizon, so the iphone doesn’t seem to be in our future any time soon. I have a blackberry, and the apps are not that great.
