Bounce…

That last post was a little heavy. Some of you are hearing from God in a good, healthy way, but I believe some of you are hearing from God’s enemy. We’ll discuss this soon, but for now it’s time to…

I have no idea who bought this bouncy chair thing, but thank you. Ava loved it, and now Finn loves it.

If you’re looking for a Christmas gift for people who are soon to be having a baby, or maybe they already have a 3-18 month old…you need to buy them one of these bounce apparatuses.

There are few things in life I’d pay more than they cost for…this is one of them. Priceless.

Oh yeah…here’s a strange Bokeh photo I took at a party a couple days ago. Click the image to reveal the big one and then you can right-click on it to save it as your desktop background if you’re looking for something Christmas-ish.

Oh yeah…have I mentioned how gorgeous my wife is lately?

See you all in a few days. I’m heading out tonight for Red River Gorge until later on Wednesday. Hopefully I’ll come back with some cool photos.

thanks for the new background. trying to see what God is planning for me. i am needing to remember that he is faithful like He was to Zachariah and that it is ok for me to keep praying the same prayer over and over.

I really enjoyed your video, so fun to hear the happy voice of a baby. The bokeh photo is wonderful. That would make a nice background for a card. Thank you for sharing.

HAH! We had one of those- one of the kids bounced so hard I swear he was going to give himself brain damage. And another one learned how to ‘fly’- toe forward to where they couldn’t reach any more, then lift their feet and swing. You might want to try tucking a rolled blanket around him so he stays more upright in it.

I think every parent ought to be issued one of those and a battery-powered swing. The 2 necessities of life with babies.

    1. I have yet to meet the baby who doesn’t like the bounce-a-roo.
    2. I wish they made an adult version cause some days i could use a good bounce-a-roo.
    3. Your wife looks awesome in that picture. How can she look that good after having a baby just a few months ago?

First, I think you have one of the best looking families on the net. Second, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a baby who resembles his Daddy as much as your adorable son resembles you. :) Third, if you want to know just how old those jumpy things are and what they could lead to ;) go here: (He’s 33 now. :)

Love the video– My son has a rainforest jumper that he has loved from the day he could sit in it…be careful for wear and tear around his lil chubby thighs though. My lil one jumped himself into a blister on his within 10 minutes on bare skin.
