It’s cold outside. I needed some warmth. So I changed the desktop background on my computer to this image I took in South Carolina and thought you might want to as well. Click the photo for a big one.
You can save it as your desktop background, or you have my full permission to get it printed. It should look great in pretty much any size up to 16 x 24 inches…maybe even 20 x 30. Frame it up nicely and hang it in your place, or give it to someone else for Christmas. Or both.
Tis the season,
Ryan

Love the photo and have changed my desktop background! Thanks Ryan, although this photo makes me want a thick sweater and cup of coffee. I’m not feeling the warm breezes. Merry Christmas!

This is great. Thinking of printing it for my office. I loved the pictures you posted from that trip.

love the pic, but it doesn’t make me warm, looks like winter at the beach!

This is so beautiful. Where in South Carolina is it? It reminds me of a beach I visited once. (It was the first beach I ever went to, and so peaceful, so it has a special place in my heart.)

Gorgeous picture, would you mind sharing with us all where this picture was taken? I would love to travel there and wondered how you found such an amazing rental on the beach! If you don’t want to post on the site, would you mind emailing the city/location to me? Thanks!

The area was called Surfside Beach, about an hour away from Myrtle Beach. It was a wonderful town filled with amazing food.

Growing up near the shores of NJ, I always had a place to go, renew, reconnect, most of all see the sign I’m given every day from our Father of how much he loves all of us. We are so rich with his gifts. I can see myself standing on the path of those boards. No matter how crazy these past months and days have been I know he’s listening, I pray…not just for me, for many. One prayer is “remember you promised not to give me anything I can’t handle”. Every once in a while it seems I can’t deal with it. Then I get a little something that he says…”No matter how crummy something is right now…I’m right here, just keep moving along the path”. I so miss the fellowship of church. Wish y’all were closer, I’m way up here in Ashtabula maybe sometime this spring we can make a trip to the Vineyard. Thank you for the photo and the podcasts are much appreciated.

Thank you for the gift–we live in Ga., about 5 hours or so from several beaches and I have been thinking about an off-season beach trip. This photo makes me long for it more.

This is gorgeous, Ryan. Out of your SC trip, I think this photo was my favorite. Thanks for sharing!

Ryan, you should write a post giving us ladies some ideas for stocking stuffers for our husbands. This girl needs some help!

Thank you so much. This is beautiful.

It’s a stunning picture but is it wrong that I’d be more likely to hang the apple picture from your previous post instead?
Probably just means I have kids.

Thanks for posting this great pic! It reminds me of happier warm times along the seashore. Nice, since it’s freezing in Dallas, and I don’t know about you but we Texans aren’t used to this kind of cold! thanks again!
