RANDOMIZED!!
Now this is where it took a little figuring out. Since the random number was higher than the actual blog comments…I had to go past the Facebook comments and into the twitter posts. The random number was 588…so I subtracted the original post comments (538) and then subtracted the Facebook entries (16) to land on the number 34. And the 34th twitter ReTweet of this post was…
Katie Jane Parker! Now maybe, just maybe I did that math wrong. But it would be RANDOM that I suck at math and that means she still wins.
Check out Katie’s website. It looks like she’s an incredible photographer in New York City. New York City?? said in a Pace Picante Salsa Commercial Voice – Yes. New York City.
Katie Jane Parker…I’ll need you to contact me via email so that I can get your address to ship your new copy of The Flavor Bible…and remember folks – it’s still on sale at Amazon for $23.10. Go buy one.
Now one more thing before I end this ridiculous display of blogiosity. You people have GARLIC ISSUES. Far more than half of you said that your very, most favoritest flavor/ingredient is garlic. Some people described this miracle as if they’d put it on their corn flakes and even shine their shoes with it.
I have no problem with it at all, but you might have issues when it comes to the vampires. As you know, they have a bit of an aversion to this wonderful little root bulb. Just look at the message I got from this harmless little vampire – urging you to stay away from the stuff.
That is all folks.
For today at least.

I have been to the Garlic Capital of the World (Gilroy, CA) and it is good. You can smell the garlic when you drive thru on the freeway. Nearly every other store in town is a garlic-exclusive store, or has a huge section of garlic-something-or-other. I’ve even attended the huge Garlic Festival where thousands of fellow garlic-lovers congregate to celebrate their favorite little root bulb. For a good Ukrainian like myself, it is heaven. ;p

Oh RATS! I wanted to win. Too poor to buy one. Congrats to the winner!
p.s. Dont go to the garlic festival in Gilroy (or any garlic festival for that matter) on a first date. That’s all Im saying!

now the question becomes: which technological media should I use to increase my chances of winning.
hmmm….

I am sooooo excited! Thanks again!!!!!!!

I love garlic but unfortunately I haven’t eaten it since I got married nine years ago. My husband hates it cuz when he was young, his mom’s old boyfriend would put it in everything…including cookies so he and his sister wouldn’t eat his food. Everytime I crave a dish with some garlic, I bless the man who ruined it for my husband.

Get rid of the smell of garlic? Why ever would you want to?
{reply}
Hahaha! But where would the food world be without garlic??
{reply}
ummmm…garlic…

So those of us who love garlic will forever be protected from Vampires?! Woo hoo! So sorry for the rest of you. LOL.
One day I hope to go to the Gilroy Garlic Festival, but I think I’ll steer clear of the garlic ice cream. I have to draw the line somewhere.

While it’s not my most favorite flavor ever, I do love garlic, too. I probably use it more than my favorite flavors.

Congratulations to the winner and I just loved the vampire post.

hey ryan, i just joined one of the book clubs (www.thegoodcook.com), you know, you order 4 books for $1.00 each + s/h, another book 50% off + s/h, then you are left with 1 book left to purchase in your contract.
well, lo and behold, i just looked and the flavor bible is available! it has now been put on my wish list and will soon fulfill my obligations to said club!
thought maybe other readers might be interested in the site.
