I had a dream last night about angels. I was flying around with them and looking into people’s lives. It was clear that we had specific jobs to do and that we loved doing them. The angels were funny…sarcastic actually. They were like people you’d enjoy hanging around with. You know, the kind of people that are good enough friends that you don’t have to entertain them. They’re cool to just be there.
I’m not really sure what to take from the dream. It was long and detailed, which feels important. I have no findings to report, but I did feel inspired enough to create a couple of desktop wallpapers.

@LoveFeast Table, I did them in photoshop. First, I scanned in the image of the angel from an old bible. Then I created a distressed looking background using different colors, textures, and layers. Last, I dropped the angel scan layer over top of my distressed background and changed the opacity until it looked good…cloned in a little of each background until it felt right.

Flying dreams are rare and unusual. I was told this by a neurologist friend. I have had a few and they are so awesome! I have a very active dream life, which is supposed to be a good thing. When my 1st husband died ,I couldn’t sleep. Then when I slept, I didn’t dream. Life was very bleak. Only living for my little girl.I put aside my anger at God , swallowed my pride and asked Him for HELP. A couple of weeks later, I had a dream. I didn’t remember it; but, I know I had it . Things got a little brighter and dreams came back. How lucky yo are Ryan, to dream of angels! I think it means you are a good man and God has noticed.You are blessed.

I’ve only ever had ONE flying dream where I actually flew… in all the other dreams where I should be flying, I’m always heavy as lead and come crashing to the ground… argh.

The angels personalties in your dream reminded me of the book “Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ’s Childhood Pal – Christopher Moore. It’s a great book and hilarious too. I think Biff would have fit in perfectly as an angel in your dream.

My son has the most vivid dreams I’ve ever heard about. When he was younger, they were very scary for him; they’ve settled down a little now, but they’re still very vivid . . . I keep telling him he needs to write them down. I think they’d make him some serious bucks some day!

How neat. And really strange is the song refrain in my head ‘she talks to angels’ and can’t seem to get the whole song tapped. Old rock song I probably heard while working. Wish my dreams were that interesting.
