Yesterday was a lazy Sunday once the chaos of the church services was over. Between, during, and after the two services on Sunday…I had two meetings, did baby dedications, and taught in our high school students class. I was wiped out, but I took a nap and when I woke up my brother-in-law Chris and Allison’s sister Andrea were at our house bringing dinner over. Then we played outside with all the kids and our neighbors.
This was a good Sunday.
I’m pretty sure I didn’t take any of these photos. I just edited them after Allison and her sister Andrea took them. I’ll stand by my position that I hate winter with all of my hating power, but I sure do love autumn.
Ava is 4 now. She knows everything there is to know in the universe. Except how to brush her hair.
My nephew Harrison. He’s a good boy now. We had our doubts for a little while.
See?
My other nephew Lincoln has pretty eyes and big white chompers.
Even when he’s upside down.
My neighbors Mike and Lindsey have a little boy named Carson. I can’t wait to see what kind of trouble he and Finn stir up.
Stiff winds – dry leaves crackling as you walk through grass you’ve allowed to grow longer than normal – Autumn is a mellow time.

Autumn is indeed wonderful… sigh… And it’s so short. Not to mention, you are totally livin’ in the wrong part of Ohio with no love for winter. Not even sledding? Can you unhate it a little for that?
Your comment about Ava knowing everything is perfect. My six year old is the same way. Love it.

You’re making me miss fall! Don’t get me wrong, being able to use the pool in September is great, but I would love some sweater weather.

Enjoy this time – not just autumn… your babies are growing fast. I can’t believe my “babies” are 29 and 32. You don’t realize when you are living it that these early years are so special and go so fast. Love the pictures-they are so sweet. P.S. And I hear you about winter.

It is definitely not as easy to hold us upside-down by our ankles any more.

We’re just having a couple of perfect days, starting yesterday, cool breeze, bright clear blue sky…yes Autumn is most beautiful as are the kids.

I love randomography posts. They remind me of taking more “daily life” photos and to bring the camera along with me more often.
Also, I really need to read good things about this season. I’m missing Summer like crazy. This morning was the first I felt the air was colder outside the shower than inside… And I almost cried. Today I wore socks for the first time in months. I’ll come back later for more positive comments about Autumn.

Autumn is absolutely my favorite season. I love the weather, the smell, the beautiful leaves… everything. Your kids are getting so big! I looked at Ava in her dance outfit and couldn’t believe how big she has gotten. Beautiful kids, wonderful family.

The photo of you and Finn is AMAZING!! Glad you had a great Sunday with your family!

Oh, Ryan, that pic of you and Finn just melts my heart. There’s nothing quite like seeing a Daddy’s love for his babies.
Autumn/fall is an awesome time of year. I’m so ready for it. I just wish it would show up. It was over 100 degrees in CA today! Yikes! Mother Nature didn’t get the note that it’s Autumn everywhere, not just the east coast. LOL

Sent you an email last week about a print I ordered, paid for through paypal, but have not received. Would you please look into this for me? It was a birthday gift (July). Thanks.

Love the photos, whoever took them! Autumn is the best time of the year, in my opinion.
It’s a little odd to see a jacket in pictures already…as our high is 86 degrees today. And even that’s a few degrees below what it’s been lately.

All 4 kids are so cute! Ava sure is changing & looking more grown up! I love fall – it’s the best time of the year to be outside, even though winter is next..ugh….

If you hate Ohio winters so much then move to Acton, CA and start a new church. We need some serious Jesus Freaks in this town (other then myself and a few others). Great place to raise those kids.
