I’m not sure what happened. None of us can define that moment when our children shifted from babies to kids, but we notice it…and the baby is gone. The caterpillar has transformed into something even more beautiful and certainly more advanced. It would seem that the first words our kids learn are arguments to use against us. From the moment they can speak, it is only to express how correct they believe they are. My, what we can learn from them. God too, snickers at our own feistiness. Nothing they could ever do would make me love them any less.
King’s Island – 97 degrees – 1,100% humidity – everything costs a million dollars – so worth it.

Love the picture of Allison and Finn! Miss you guys!

Compare those open-mouth laughs of Mom & daughter! Ava has nothing to worry about. She’ll be a knockout!

Does your kid still wear diapers? It looks like he might be too old for that.

@DB, Finn is just ginormous… He takes after his grandpa and his mama (me). I was always one of those kids that other parents insisted was too old to be playing sports with their kids (I think one occassion I had one parent screaming to get the Jolly Green Giant off the field…haha). He doesn’t turn two until next week. Although, I would love to see him totally potty trained before baby #3 gets here, I don’t think it’s gonna happen.

Geeze, they’re CUTE!!!! Can’t wait to see what this new little one looks like.
So grateful to see happy, healthy kiddos who are safe and loved. I read a lot and this is not the case for most children. So glad you all are blessed.
God is good. And your kiddos are adorable. And I know adorable ’cause I have three adorable sons myself!

before you know it they will be teenagers and then they’ll be going off into the world making it a better place. Really! It happens in a heart beat. So enjoy each moment! Make each moment special even though you are tired. You will not regret it. When they are gone you will be happy because you did the best you could.

I distinctly remember when I brought each consecutive child home from the hospital and saw the next older sibling laying next to the baby, all the sudden the older one seemed huge compared to the day before. Your babies are beautiful – can’t wait to see the latest edition. And as far as Finn’s size – I have a new six year-old that could pass for 8 or 9. Sometimes I think people expect too much of him thinking he’s older because he’s so big. Even us sometimes!
