Finn’s Runway Show…

I like this photo of Finn:

It’s especially perfect for pasting his head into animations where we can make his body dance. Anyone else out there a fan of the “Elf Yourself” videos that come around for the Holidays? We love them…we watch them over and over. And over. Huggies® came up with one of these video options for their Every Little Bottom program. The best part is that when you make these videos, or like these videos on Facebook…diapers get donated to babies in need.

Here is Finn on the Runway…just click the image to see the video.

Now all you have to do is like this video on Facebook and diapers will be donated to the cause. Or, make your own video with your baby and more diapers will be donated. Share your own and the donations will grow. Easy!

Disclosure: I have partnered with the Huggies® brand to help promote Huggies® Every Little Bottom program. I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program, which includes writing about my family’s own experiences from my sons/daughter’s point of view, and/or their experiences with diapers. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.

A find…

Cleaning out junk drawers can lead to some interesting discoveries. Today I found an unmarked CD. I decided to pop it into my laptop before I threw it away. A single image was on the disc – a photo from when I was 16 years old. I don’t remember who took the photo, nor do I recall ever having it scanned onto a disc. All I know is that I now have a photo of me with my Suzuki TS250 street and trail bike…a bike that’s been gone for many years. This makes me happy.

What’s the latest treasure you’ve found around the house?

Being a parent…

They_Both_Sparkle

Being a parent means discovering that you could have spent $2 on the fireworks and they still would have been happy…as long as you were there to light them. It means that there is such a thing as quality time, but that it goes hand-in-hand with quantity time. I’m re-learning the art of what it means to be fully present with my kids when I’m with them…not on the computer…not distracted by work…not just physically present, but there with all of me. That’s when the quality sets in.
